From the established streets of Quail Valley to the newer sections of Sienna, we inspect, repair and replace Missouri City roofs and fix the rooms a leak has reached.
Missouri City got its name from an 1890s land promotion that advertised this part of Fort Bend County to families in Missouri, and it was incorporated in 1956. Most of the city is still in Fort Bend County, with a small piece in Harris County, and Houston itself borders it on the north and east. It is a city of two very different ages, and the roof on your house usually tells you which one you live in.
On one side are the older master-planned neighborhoods. Quail Valley was one of the first in Fort Bend County, and its golf course hosted the Houston Open in 1973 and 1974. Lake Olympia is another of the established sections. A house from those decades may be on its second or third roof by now, and some have been patched more times than anyone remembers. On the other side are the newer communities on Missouri City’s edge, like Sienna, the 10,000-acre development south of Highway 6.
In the older neighborhoods, a roof problem often shows up first as a stain on a ceiling. In the newer ones, the usual worry is what the last storm did. Either way the first step is the same: a free roof inspection, a straight answer about what we found, and a free estimate if the house needs work.
On a Quail Valley or Lake Olympia house the question is often whether a tired roof has one more patch in it. We get on the roof, look at the shingles, flashing and vents, and tell you plainly whether a repair will hold or the roof is past that point.
Leaks in older Missouri City homes tend to come from flashing around chimneys and walls, worn pipe boots and valleys that have been patched before. We trace the water back to where it gets in and fix that spot, rather than only the shingles above the stain.
Because we do interior work too, our team can put right the room a leak reached once the roof is repaired, from a patched ceiling to a full bathroom remodel.
If wind or hail has damaged the roof, we inspect it, show you the damage and explain how the claim process works. You decide whether to file, and once your insurer approves the scope, we do the work to that scope.
By the time a roof leak shows up as a brown ring on a ceiling, the water has usually been getting into the attic for a while. Insulation gets wet, the drywall softens, and in a bathroom or a closet it can go unseen until the paint bubbles. Fixing the ceiling first is a waste of money, because the stain comes back with the next heavy rain.
So we do it in order. We find and repair the roof, then repair the damaged drywall and finish it. If the room was due for more than a patch, we can talk about new flooring or a fuller remodel while we are there.
Storms in the Newer Missouri City Neighborhoods
Newer roofs are not storm-proof. On August 26, 2017, during Hurricane Harvey, a tornado touched down in Sienna and damaged as many as 50 homes, tearing roofs off and blowing siding loose, with the Vieux Carre section among the hardest hit. Most storms are much less dramatic than that, but wind still lifts shingles and hail still bruises them in ways you cannot see from the yard.
If you live in Sienna or one of the other newer sections and a storm has just come through, call for a free inspection. We will tell you whether the roof is damaged or simply fine, and we will show you either way. If it needs work and you choose to file, we can meet your insurance adjuster at the house to look at the roof together.
Why Missouri City Homeowners Call Roofshire
A straight answer on older roofs. If a repair makes sense on a Quail Valley roof, we say so. If it does not, we say that too.
Roof and room, one contractor. We fix the roof, then the drywall, flooring or bathroom it affected, so you are not managing two crews.
In touch until the job is done. Customers say we kept them informed through every step.

My house in Quail Valley has an older roof. Is it worth repairing, or should I replace it?
It depends on what the inspection finds. If the damage is in one area and the rest of the roof is sound, a repair can make sense. If the shingles are worn across the whole roof, patching keeps costing you. The inspection is free, and we tell you which one we would do.
There is a water stain on my ceiling. Do I call a roofer or a drywall contractor?
Call us for both. We find and repair where the water is getting in through the roof first, then replace and finish the damaged drywall, so the stain does not come back with the next rain.
Do you do bathroom remodels and other interior work in Missouri City?
Yes. Besides roofing we do interior remodeling, including bathrooms, plus flooring and drywall.
We live in Sienna and a storm just came through. Should we get the roof looked at?
If the storm brought strong wind or hail, it is worth a free inspection. Newer roofs can still lose or crease shingles, and that damage is hard to see from the ground. We show you what we find either way.
Will you meet my insurance adjuster at my Missouri City home?
Yes, we can meet your insurance adjuster at the house to look at the roof. We also explain how the claim process works, but the claim itself is between you and your insurance company, and you decide whether to file.

What Our Customers Say

Jhon (this is how he spells his name) and Britt were great to work with during our roof replacement, they stayed involved during the back and forth with the insurance company to make sure we were treated fairly. The roof was installed with high quality materials by qualified installers. Jhon, Britt or Marlon was always available when needed. The roof job went so well we allowed them to perform a bathroom remodel job for us. I would recommend Roofshire Construction for all of your roofing or remodeling jobs.

Wonderful to work with. They worked with the insurance company and the HOA. We have solar panels and they have a great team that handled lifting and reinstalling the panels so that the roofing team could repair and shingle the roof. The work done is top quality. They whole team, yes that includes sales and every one, communicated with us every step of the way. It was great to see the pride in workmanship as well.
