Roofs, siding and remodeling across Houston, from our Greenspoint office off I-45 to the bungalows inside the Loop.
Houston is home base. The office is on West Greens Road in the Greenspoint area, close to where I-45 crosses Beltway 8, so the north side of the city is a short trip for our crew. The rest of Houston, which runs well past Harris County into small pieces of Fort Bend and Montgomery, is in our service area too.
Houston has never adopted zoning, and that shows up on the roofs. A century-old cottage can sit a few lots from a brand-new townhouse, and a row of ranch homes can back onto a strip center. No two Houston roofs start with the same assumptions about pitch, age, or what is hiding under the shingles, so we price the job after someone has been up on it.
Hail and wind are hard on Houston roofs, and age does its share too. We get on the roof, look it over, and tell you in plain words whether you are looking at storm damage, ordinary aging, or some of each.
Wind and hail damage on a Houston roof is easy to miss from the driveway. Creased tabs, loose ridge caps and bruised shingles tend to stay hidden until the next heavy rain finds them. A free inspection separates what the weather did from what the years did.
An older Houston roof can hide a surprise, like a second layer that was nailed over the first or decking gone soft along the eaves. We take off the old roofing, fix what we find underneath and install the new roof, and we tell you what we find along the way.
When a leak has already stained a ceiling, the job does not end at the shingles. We stop the water at the roof, then repair the drywall and the room below. Bathroom remodels and other interior work are on our list of services too.
Gulf humidity and long summers are hard on old lap siding, and the rot usually starts around window trim and along the bottom row of boards. When a Houston house needs both, we can do the roof and the siding as one project so the outside is finished at the same time.
Houston Heights was founded in 1891 as one of the earliest planned communities in Texas and was annexed by Houston in 1918. Its streets still mix large Victorian houses with modest cottages and bungalows, and similar older stock turns up in other neighborhoods inside the Loop.
Several of those areas are city historic districts. When owners of contributing houses in the Heights have wanted to change roofing material, for example from composition shingles to standing-seam metal, the request has gone before the Houston Archaeological and Historical Commission for a certificate of appropriateness. If your house is in a historic district and you are thinking about a different material, check with the city planning department first. We can show you what is on the roof today so you know what you are comparing against.
The 2024 Storms Are Still on Some Roofs
On May 16, 2024, a derecho pushed straight-line winds of up to 100 mph across the city and blew out windows in downtown high-rises. Less than two months later, on July 8, Hurricane Beryl made landfall near Matagorda and knocked out power to more than two million homes and businesses in the Houston area.
A roof that lost a few shingles in May then took Beryl's wind and rain through the same gaps. If nobody has been on your roof since 2024, a free inspection is a sensible start. We show you what we find and explain how the claim process works. Whether to file is your decision, and the claim is between you and your insurance company.
What a Houston-Based Roofer Means for You
Our office is in the city. We work out of West Greens Road in north Houston, and we are still there long after storm season ends.
Hablamos español. If you would rather talk through your roof in Spanish, tell us when you call.
Straight talk about storm damage. If the roof is just old, we say so. If the weather did the damage, we walk you through what we found.
We stay in touch. Customers mention that we kept them posted at every step, from the first look at the roof to the cleanup.
Do you work inside the Loop, or only on the north side of Houston?
The whole city. Our office is on West Greens Road near I-45 and Beltway 8, so the north side is closest, but our service area covers all of Houston, including the older neighborhoods inside the Loop.
Where is your Houston office?
At 396 W Greens Rd #447A, Houston, TX 77067, in the Greenspoint area. It is open Monday through Saturday, 10 AM to 6 PM. Most of our work happens at your house, so please call ahead before you stop by.
My house is in a Houston historic district. Can you replace the roof?
Yes. In historic districts such as the Heights, changing to a different roofing material has gone before the Houston Archaeological and Historical Commission for a certificate of appropriateness. If you are considering a new material, check with the city planning department before you decide. We can inspect the roof and show you what is on it now.
My roof got through the 2024 derecho and Hurricane Beryl. Is an inspection still worth it?
Yes, it is worth checking. Wind damage like lifted or creased shingles is hard to see from the ground. The inspection is free, we show you what we find, and whether to file a claim is your decision.
A roof leak stained my ceiling. Can you fix the inside too?
Yes. We repair the leak at the roof first, then the drywall and the room. We also do interior remodeling, including bathrooms, and flooring.

What Our Customers Say

Jhon (this is how he spells his name) and Britt were great to work with during our roof replacement, they stayed involved during the back and forth with the insurance company to make sure we were treated fairly. The roof was installed with high quality materials by qualified installers. Jhon, Britt or Marlon was always available when needed. The roof job went so well we allowed them to perform a bathroom remodel job for us. I would recommend Roofshire Construction for all of your roofing or remodeling jobs.

Brittany and Jhon are professional and very helpful through the process. They walked me step-by-step, especially with filing a claim with my insurance. Their construction crew worked diligently and the outcome of their was stunning. My new roof and gutters elevated my house. each project was finished within a day. Plus with installation of a roof fan my attic is amazingly cooler. In addition, I had some water damage and Brittany was on it in getting a mitigation team out; Patty is great. I appreciate all their hardwrk in taking care of my prized possession: My two-story house.
