Roofing Contractor in Fresno, TX

Roof replacement, repair, siding and concrete for the Fresno subdivisions off FM 521, north of Highway 6 in unincorporated Fort Bend County.

Fresno is not a city at all, at least not on paper. It is an unincorporated community in Fort Bend County, counted by the census as its own place, with Missouri City on its western side, Arcola to the south and the Brazoria County line along its eastern edge. Farm Road 521, which used to carry the old Highway 288, runs through it, and State Highway 6 runs along its south side.

For most of the last century it was tiny. A settler from Fresno, California, is said to have picked the name, a post office opened in 1910, and in 1914 the place had 32 residents and a general store. Then the subdivisions came. Fresno had about 6,600 people in 2000, about 19,000 in 2010 and almost 24,500 in 2020.

That growth happened in waves, and the waves decide what your roof needs now. Teal Run got going in the 1980s and picked back up in 1992, with the Estates of Teal Run and Teal Run North following around 1999 and 2001. Winfield Lakes, Andover Farms and Cambridge Falls went up in 2004 and 2005. If your house still has the roof it was built with, that roof is now somewhere between twenty and thirty-plus years old.

Roofing and Exterior Work in Fresno

Roof Replacement

Many Fresno homes are reaching their first full reroof at about the same time. We strip off the worn shingles, fix any damage below them and put the new roof on, and the crew tidies the site when the job is finished.

Roof Repair

Not every older Fresno roof needs replacing. A missing patch of shingles after a windy night, a cracked pipe boot or a lifted edge can often be repaired, and we will tell you honestly when that is the better call.

Siding

Siding on a twenty-year-old house tends to fail at the joints and around windows first, and gaps there let rain into the wall. We replace damaged sections or the whole wall, and the roof and siding can be done as one project.

Concrete

We also do concrete work, such as patios, walkways and driveways. Describe the job when you call and we can look at it on the same visit as the roof.

Everything else we do is on the services page.

Twenty-Year Roofs in the 2004 and 2005 Subdivisions

Winfield Lakes, Andover Farms and Cambridge Falls all went up within a couple of years of each other. Houses built that close together got their first roofs at the same time, and they have been through the same storms since. When the shingles on one street start curling, losing granules and lifting at the edges, the street next to it is usually not far behind.

A roof that age is the point where repair and replacement are both on the table, and it is the hardest call for a homeowner to make from the ground. A free roof inspection settles it. We go up, look at the shingles, the vents and the flashing, and give you a free estimate for whatever the roof actually needs.

The Older Houses Around Teal Run

The Teal Run sections are the oldest of Fresno’s subdivisions, and a house there that is still on its first roof is overdue for a hard look. If yours has already been reroofed, the question becomes how well that job was done. We check for shingles laid over old ones, worn flashing and soft decking along the eaves.

An older house is also more likely to need work beyond the roof: gutters that have pulled away from the fascia, or siding that has started to split. We can look at all of it on the same visit.

Storm Damage and Your Insurance

Fresno is in eastern Fort Bend County, open farmland not long ago, and the wind and hail that cross the county reach these roofs too. After a storm we get up on the roof, point out the damage to you and explain how the claim process works. The decision to file is yours, and the claim is between you and your insurance company. We can meet your insurance adjuster at the house to look at the roof, and if your insurer approves the scope, we do the work to that scope.

Why Fresno Homeowners Choose Roofshire

  • Your subdivision’s age tells us where to look first. In Fresno the year a subdivision went up says a lot about what to check on the roof.
  • Repair when repair will do. If a repair will hold, we tell you so instead of quoting a full roof.
  • Roof, siding and concrete together. One contractor for the top of the house, the walls and the ground around it.
  • We clean up. We clean up and make sure you are happy with the finished job.

Fresno Roofing Questions

Fresno is unincorporated. Do you still come out there?

Yes. Fresno is an unincorporated community in Fort Bend County, and it is part of our regular service area along with Missouri City and Pearland. Inspections there are free like everywhere else we work.

My house in Winfield Lakes was built around 2005 and still has its original roof. Does it need replacing?

Not automatically. A roof that age can still have some life in it, or it can be worn out, depending on the storms it has seen. A free inspection tells you which, and the estimate is free too.

Can you repair my roof instead of replacing it?

Often, yes. Missing shingles, a cracked pipe boot or a lifted edge can usually be repaired. If the whole roof is worn, we tell you that a new roof is the better spend and explain why.

Do you do siding and concrete in Fresno, or only roofs?

Both. Besides roofing we install siding and gutters and do concrete work, as well as interior remodeling, flooring, drywall and framing.

A storm came through Fresno. How does insurance work for roof damage?

After a free inspection, we show you what the storm did and walk you through how a claim generally works. Filing is your call, since the claim is between you and your insurance company. Our team can meet your insurance adjuster at the house to look at the roof, and once your insurer approves the scope, the work is done to that scope.

Will the crew clean up after a roof replacement?

Yes. The crew cleans up the site when the work is finished, and we make sure you are happy with the finished job.

What Our Customers Say

Reviews left by Roofshire Construction Inc customers on Google, shown word for word.

Jhon (this is how he spells his name) and Britt were great to work with during our roof replacement, they stayed involved during the back and forth with the insurance company to make sure we were treated fairly. The roof was installed with high quality materials by qualified installers. Jhon, Britt or Marlon was always available when needed. The roof job went so well we allowed them to perform a bathroom remodel job for us. I would recommend Roofshire Construction for all of your roofing or remodeling jobs.

Dean Lemelle

Wonderful to work with. They worked with the insurance company and the HOA. We have solar panels and they have a great team that handled lifting and reinstalling the panels so that the roofing team could repair and shingle the roof. The work done is top quality. They whole team, yes that includes sales and every one, communicated with us every step of the way. It was great to see the pride in workmanship as well.

TCs Garden

Roofshire was absolutely amazing. We love our new roof. They kept in touch with us throughout every step of the construction. They were insistent that we were completely satisfied which we were. The job was done quick and efficiently and it looks amazing.
