One Houston Contractor for the Roof and the Rest of the House

Most of the work we do is roofing. Houston storms bring hail and high wind, and a roof is the part of the house that takes it first. That might mean a roof that needs replacing, a leak that needs finding, or a homeowner who wants to know whether the last storm did any damage at all.

The remodeling side grew out of the roofing. When water gets past a roof, it does not stop at the shingles: it stains the ceiling, softens the drywall and sometimes reaches the floor. When hail strips a roof, it often dents the gutters and cracks the siding on the same afternoon. With one contractor, you can fix the roof and then the damage it caused, without bringing in a second company. One customer had her roof and gutters replaced together on a two-story house; another had the roof done and then a bathroom remodeled.

Whatever the service, you get a free estimate before anything is agreed, we stay in touch with you at every step until the job is done, and the crew cleans up the site. Our office is open Monday through Saturday, 10 AM to 6 PM, and hablamos español.

Repair, Replace, or Leave It Alone?

The first question about any roof, and how we help you answer it honestly.

Start with an inspection

If you do not know what shape the roof is in, that is the first step, and it is free. We look at the shingles, flashing, vents and edges and show you what we found. Book a free roof inspection.

Repair when the roof has life left

A single leak or a small area of damage on an otherwise sound roof is a repair job. Fixing the source first also protects the ceiling and walls below. See roof repair.

Replace when repairs stop holding

When the damage is spread across the roof, or the same spots keep failing, patching costs more over time than a new roof. See roof replacement.

After a storm, have it inspected first

If hail or wind may have caused the damage, have it inspected first, before deciding anything. Whether to file a claim is your call, and the claim is between you and your insurer. See hail and storm damage and insurance claim roofing.

Sometimes the honest answer is to leave the roof alone. If the inspection shows the roof is in good shape, we tell you that, and there is nothing to sign. For remodeling work the same rule applies in reverse: if a stained ceiling is coming from a roof leak, we fix the roof before we touch the room, so the new drywall or flooring does not get ruined by the next rain.
