Storm Damage Roofing
Baytown sits right where Gulf storms come ashore with their wind still behind them. After one passes, we get on the roof, look for lifted tabs, missing shingles and damaged flashing, and walk you through what we found.
Storm inspections, roof repair, gutters and flooring for Baytown homes between I-10 and the water.
Roofing in Baytown means roofs that live close to the water. We travel about 45 minutes east from our north Houston office to get there, to a city that wraps around the upper end of Galveston Bay, the Houston Ship Channel and Cedar Bayou, mostly in Harris County with its eastern edge in Chambers County.
Baytown as a name is younger than the town. Goose Creek, Pelly and the oil-field community called Baytown grew up side by side in the early twentieth century, and they combined into one city in the late 1940s. The older neighborhoods from those days and the newer ones north toward I-10 have very different roofs on them.
A Baytown roof inspection costs you nothing, and neither does the written estimate that follows it, with every part of the job listed. Call (832) 995-0575, and tell us if you prefer to talk in Spanish.

Wind-driven rain off the bay finds every weak spot, usually at flashing, vents and the edges of the roof. We find where it got in, repair it and let you know if the rest of the roof is near the end.
Bay storms can dump a lot of rain in a short time, and gutters that are too small or pulling loose send it straight down the siding. We replace them, and the best time is when the roof is being done.
When a leak or a storm has soaked the floor or stained the ceiling, we can replace the flooring and drywall as part of the same job. We also do interior remodeling for rooms that just need a fresh start.
Everything else we do is on the services page.
Salt air and constant humidity wear on a roof differently than the air in north Houston. Metal flashing, vent boots and fasteners age faster, and those small parts are where many Baytown leaks begin.
On the south side of town, the Baytown Nature Center sits on what used to be the Brownwood subdivision. The ground there had sunk so far that Hurricane Alicia flooded it in 1983 and the neighborhood was given up. It is a reminder of how much the water shapes this city.
Baytown has been through Alicia, Ike in 2008, Harvey in 2017 and Beryl in 2024, and each storm tested roofs in its own way. Some bring hours of wind, some bring days of rain, and both loosen shingles and break seals without tearing the roof off.
A roof that has been through a named storm may look fine from the street. A free inspection is the simplest way to find out, and if the damage looks like a claim, see insurance claim roofing for how that works.
Around old Goose Creek and the streets near Texas Avenue, many houses have been reroofed more than once. Farther north toward I-10 and Garth Road, newer subdivisions are often still on the first roof their builder installed.
Either way, we tell you what the roof needs and why. If you are on the west side of the ship channel, see Houston, and if you are farther east toward Trinity Bay, see Anahuac.
Yes. We travel east from our office in north Houston to Baytown for roof repairs, replacements, storm inspections and gutters. There is no charge for the inspection.
There is no fixed number of years. Salt air, humidity, attic ventilation and the storms a roof has been through all change how long it lasts. A free inspection tells you how much life your roof has left.
A roofer, or a roofing contractor when it is a company running the whole job. That includes the inspection, the estimate, the tear-off, the new roof and the cleanup.
Usually, yes. Hours of hurricane wind can break shingle seals and lift tabs with nothing to see from the driveway. The inspection costs you nothing, and we show you everything we saw up there.
Yes. We do flooring, drywall and interior remodeling along with roofing, so the damaged floor can be part of the same estimate as the roof repair.
We can, within limits. We document the damage, walk you through the steps of a claim and can be at the house when your adjuster comes out. Filing is your call and the claim itself stays between you and your insurance company; once they approve a scope, that is the work we do.

Love my new roof, very polite and well mannered crew they cleaned up nicely. I got my roof replaced all through my insurance company when they showed up, I didn't even know their was damage my roof wasn't that old, but I had so much damage and they replaced it with a brand new roof.
Wonderful to work with. They worked with the insurance company and the HOA. We have solar panels and they have a great team that handled lifting and reinstalling the panels so that the roofing team could repair and shingle the roof. The work done is top quality. They whole team, yes that includes sales and every one, communicated with us every step of the way. It was great to see the pride in workmanship as well.
Roofshire was absolutely amazing. We love our new roof. They kept in touch with us throughout every step of the construction. They were insistent that we were completely satisfied which we were. The job was done quick and efficiently and it looks amazing.
